Bike Trail Extension Through Briarwood
The County proposal to extend the bike/ walking trail through Briarwood is still in the “Study Phase”. We should know more by June 2026.
I encourage everyone to go to: SWFLRoads.com/project/447514-1 and leave a comment if you oppose the idea of having a public trail running through Briarwood along the FPL easement.
Livingston Rd. Privacy Wall
The County has agreed to repair/ replace the wall on Livingston Rd. however it can take up to 18 months to go through their approval process! My last follow up was Sept. 2025 so we still have a year or more to wait. If you would like to receive an update, directly contact Marshal Miller – Division Director at 239-252-8924.
Entry Gate QR code Kiosk installed
In the next 60 days a kiosk will be installed at the main gate in the visitors’ lane. Using your Entrance IQ app, you will be able to send QR codes to your guests’ cell phone for speedy entry!
Community Activities at the club house
Game night is Coming! We first need to upgrade our BPOAnaples.com website to include calendars etc. but have been delayed by the developer. After the website is updated, I will reach out to a few volunteers, and we are off to the races!
Community Documents / Rules updated
After our Board meeting in March, it’s full speed ahead! I am confident we will have our new documents ready for your vote of approval by June!
Road Signs
We are currently gathering price quotes to replace any road sign that is faded or shows wear. Stay tuned!
Littoral Plants
Aquatic plants are scheduled to be installed in the lake that was repaired last year within the next few weeks! We will also begin repairs on the next lake in order from the worst to best. Expected cost will be approximately $400,000. I heard some discussion in the Dover community expressing concern about too many plants in the lake. I cannot express how important they are! These plants hold the soil in place and help keep yards from sliding into the water. They may not be the prettiest, but they are needed to stop erosion.
Website Updated
We are in contact with a new company that will upgrade our current website to meet new state law requirements. In addition will have a calendar showing community events and scheduled repairs and maintenance (tree trimming, road repairs, etc.) After upgrades are complete, we can begin scheduling community events! Volunteers stay tuned!
Tennis Courts updated
Soon the worn pickleball net will be replaced, fence posts straightened, and damaged fences will be replaced with upgraded materials so it will last longer!
Pool Decking painted and repaired
We plan to resurface the pool areas but will wait till after season when it’s less used.
